How to Make a Booking
Booking Stondon Community Centre is quick and straightforward. Please follow the steps below:
- Review our Terms and Conditions of Hire and Charges before making a booking.
- Select your preferred month and date using the availability calendar.
- Click “+ New Booking” and complete the online booking form with the required details.

Hire Charges & Facilities
Main Hall
- One-off private hire / party bookings:
£35 per hour (£30 per hour for Stondon Parish residents) - Kitchen facilities: from £25 per booking
- Bar facilities: £25 per booking
- Commercial & regular bookings: price on request
- Pre-event set-up (day before): price on request
Please note:
For large events or late-night bookings, an additional surcharge may apply from £60.
Included in the Main Hall hire:
- 7 round tables, 9 rectangular 6′ tables and chairs for up to 60 people
(additional tables and seating available – price on request) - Public address system with clip-on and handheld microphones
(£100 refundable security deposit required) - Speakers compatible with mobile devices
Function Room
- One-off private hire / party bookings:
£18.75 per hour (£16.25 per hour for Stondon Parish residents) - Bar facilities: £25 per booking
- Commercial & regular bookings: price on request
Included in the Function Room hire:
- 9 rectangular 6′ tables and chairs for up to 20 people
(additional tables and seating available – price on request) - 75″ TV for presentations
- Audio system with clip-on and handheld microphones
(£100 refundable security deposit required) - Speakers compatible with mobile devices
Bar Facilities
Available as an optional add-on for £25 per booking, including:
- 3 double bottle coolers
- Glass washer
- Ice machine
- Hot water boiler
Kitchen Facilities
Available from £25 per booking, featuring:
- Commercial-grade stainless steel kitchen
- Dishwasher
- Commercial oven and hob with extraction hood
- Tall fridge and freezer
- Serving station with three tray units
- Hot water boiler
Whole Day Hire
The Centre is also available on a whole-day rate.

Before Your Event – Please Note
To help ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that:
- You allow sufficient time within your booking for set-up and clean-up
- Full payment is made via BACS at least 14 days before your event
- If using an inflatable, a copy of the supplier’s insurance documents is provided at least 30 days in advance for approval
- If you hold an alcohol licence, a copy must be supplied at least 30 days in advance for approval
- If you intend to sell alcohol, a valid Temporary Events Notice (TEN) is required
